Moves Management: Major Gifts

Development and fundraising friends! A major upgrade came in mid-July designed with you in mind: Moves Management. Project, track and report on your major gifts (or any demographic strategy) using the new Moves tool in the Constituent Module.

Build out your strategy by creating ‘Lists’ and populate them with constituent ‘Cards’ to watch your donors move from cultivating to committed. Set projected ask amounts and set due dates for each ask. View a high level summary of their past and current gifts. Track touchpoints with completely customizable checklists and manage unique details with colored indicators. Attach solicitors and update your Board of Directors with a mirroring report.

All in one board and with the ease of simple drag & drop.

Membership Module: Introducing ‘Archive’ & New Responsive Self-Management Portals

We tackled two upgrades to the Membership Module this month: adding the ability to archive a membership and resetting the links to the new Membership Self-Management Portals.

In the instance that a membership has gone expired, and you need to sell a new membership level, instead of updating the expiration date of the existing membership, we bring you ‘Archive.’ By archiving a membership, you can ensure that the Membership Self-Service portal reflects the data for the new membership level. With the move to our new responsive Membership Self-Management portals, you will need to update your members with the new portal URLs. This can be done quickly with an email built with the appropriate merge fields:

 1. For members with an existing portal, you will simply need to use the merge field ua_user_portal (as readable) from the User Account sub menu in the Mergable Fields drop down menu.
2. For your members who have yet to have set up their portal, you can direct them to the setup portal using the merge field m_account_signup_portal (as readable link).

Making Moves: Introduction to Moves Management

Join us for a formal introduction to the Moves Management tool in the Constituent Module – built in partnership with some of our members’ highly functioning development departments. We’ll set up a constituent life cycle board and move a constituent through it, utilizing indicators, checklists, and projections.
