All About Spur-of-the-Moment

Spring event season starts is just around the corner! With virtual events still our new normal, organizations are plotting their next strategy for increasing online event donations, like selling branded merchandise or adding the impact of a paddle call to donation amounts.

Use Spur-of-the-Moment to customize these sales – add some fun with a photo or detail what that paddle call donation is really going to in the description. You can even sell raffle tickets, should your state allow online raffle sales.

Did you miss this month’s tips?

• 1/7 – If you have scheduled an email to be sent out, but need to cancel it or make adjustments to the asset, you can now easily and quickly cancel any scheduled email.
• 1/14 – Learn how to embed both active videos and planned Live Stream YouTube videos within portals across Compass-360.
• 1/21 – Use the Advanced Letter Processor, assign a specific contact to acknowledgments, when the contact is not the constituent itself.

Final Notice: Legacy Donation Portals Expired

If you haven’t updated the donation link for your general donation portals in the last two years, do so now! New features and functionality are not reflected on old portals, you must be using the responsive portals.

Goodbye Legacy Message Management!

We’ve completed and finalized the functionality of the Message Management Module 2.0 and will be removing Legacy Message Management on February 1st, 2021. You can find all accompanying 2.0 documentation here.

Legacy Income Extended Through Spring

We hear you! Thanks to your feedback and the introduction of a few more major lifts that development will be working on, we have extended the deprecation timeline of the Legacy Income Module – it will now be deprecated on June 1st, 2021.
