Member Spotlight: Outdoors For Our Heroes Annual Banquet Returns
After a long year and a half, Outdoors for our Heroes (OFOH) kicked off the highly anticipated return to in-person events with their 5th Annual Banquet & Auction earlier this month, raking in over $200,000 – more than double their last event.
We met the volunteer-led OFOH at the beginning of the pandemic, and helped them streamline their donation tools and run a supplemental online auction to engage their donors in the face of the shutdown. As support poured in, they became ready to take the next step to hire some additional support to help prepare them for the return of in-person events.
Enter Kesh Marketing (Kesh), the newly formed power-duo of Kelli and Stephanie, who as longtime friends and users of Compass-360 (C360), became our first out-sourced partners. Together, Kesh and C360 assisted the OFOH team in putting together a 400-person sold out event.
Thanks to Kesh’s effective communication strategies, the majority of guests had vaulted their credit cards, making check-in breezy at the Washington State Fair’s Agriplex. The secured, private WiFi line allowed for quick troubleshooting, as well as significantly easier sales recording. Quick printing the auction results for the Silent Auction led to a smooth checkout and minimal line, with the majority of guests able to collect their items and head off for the night to celebrate the success of their generosity.
