Module Spotlight: Campaigns

Campaign portals are essentially customized donation portals where you can control more of the content. Income that comes in through a campaign portal is subsequently linked from the back end to the campaign, allowing you to more easily query on what campaign drew in what income.

Campaigns can be used in place of a direct-giving event (like a breakfast), used as a landing spot for marketing campaigns, or used to target specific donor demographics.

Did you miss this month’s tips?

4/1 – Track and report on your major gifts – or any demographic of donors you are strategically targeting (like a Capital Campaign) using the Moves Management tool in the Constituent Module.

4/8 – Learn how import constituent data that was modified after an export using the Import Module.

4/15 – We recommend to regularly clean constituent salutations, particularly if you’ve recently had an influx of constituents into your database by running a clean-up.

4/22 – All about the new Matching Tool has been rolled out through-out Compass-360 and now includes salutations to help maintain cleanliness to your data.

The Tools We Use: Trello

Trello is a web-based, Kanban-style, visual collaboration tool the helps you and your team organize, plan and execute projects of all sizes.

A Trello board is a series of lists, with a bunch of cards attached and packed full with powerful features and automation. Using cards (the inspiration behind our Moves Management board), you can manage track, track and share each step of your project.
