Don’t go chasing waterfalls

Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring and you know what that means: Spring Event Season is officially here! If you haven’t run an event since we upgraded the Event Module in October, have no fear, we’ve simplified the ability to run a complete event, from configuration to night-of tasks.

In addition to the upgrade, came a set of new Help Documents to make sure we’ve got you covered. You can also request an individualized training for your event or hire Compass-360 support to work your event. Our team is here to help, don’t be shy!

Let me upgrade ya

  1. Help Site – New help website and documents with user-friendly search and how to guides… March 2020
  2. Insights Builder – Customizable query builder to segment your data and run reports on valuable metrics… April 2020
  3. Community Services Upgrade – Several enhancements to the client service check-in/out process to improve the user experience and the roll-out of the first volunteer clock-in/out screen to log time cards… June 2020

The Man Behind the Help Desk: Dustin

Meet the Chris Traeger of the Compass-360 team! An avid fan of Dirty Dancing and the Minnesota Vikings, Dustin runs our Help Desk and manages all Event Services. You’ve probably talked with him, now get to know him.

What is the one thing you cannot resist?
Despite coming up on the 20th anniversary of my diagnosis with Type 1 Diabetes in April, I have an insatiable sweet tooth. I’m a real sucker for the organic gummy bears from Black Forest.

What’s your favorite line from a movie?
“What is this? A center for ants?!” (Zoolander)

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to learn to play the piano. I can read music, but I’ve never had access to a piano on a regular basis, and am a bit of a purist, so I haven’t invested in a keyboard.
